1. How You Accidentally Signed Up

Most people sign up without realizing it.

  • The Checkout Trap: When buying a physical book on Amazon, there is often a button that says “Read with Audible – Free.” If you check that box, you start a 30-day trial.
  • The “Free Book” Offer: You clicked an ad for a free audiobook. The book was free, but it came with a subscription that auto-renews.

2. Identify the Charge

Audible has different plans. Check your statement to see which one you have:

  • $14.95: Audible Premium Plus (1 Credit/month).
  • $7.95: Audible Plus (Streaming only, no credits).

3. How to Cancel (You Cannot Do This in the App)
